Messy but sooooo easy to make!
unflavored gelatin 21g
a pinch of salt
vanilla essence 1 tsp (un sachet de sucre vanillé!)
- Place the sugar and cover it with water in a saucepan. Let the syrup boil until 120ºC.
- Place water, salt, vanilla essence and gelatin in the large bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat until it thickens.
- Pour the syrup slowly into the gelatin mixture and beat until white. Add coloring.
- Use a pastry bag to form the marshmallow strips on a pan with “tons” of sugar. Let stand uncovered at room temperature for as long as you can resist the temptation (8 hours will do).
